First introduced in 1990, the Perth Mint’s Silver Kookaburra series has been immensely popular with collectors and investors. The coins display a portrait of Queen Elizabeth on the obverse and an image of the native Australian kookaburra bird on the reverse. Australia Silver Kookaburras have been issued in four sizes: 1 ounce, 2 ounces, 10 ounces and 1 kilogram. The reverse design changes each year.
